Title: Innate immune regulation of mitochondrial respiratory chain during bacterial infection
Johan Garaude got his Ph.D. degree from the University of Montpellier (France) for his study of signaling pathways involved in lymphocyte activation and leukemogenesis. During his postdoc at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New york, USA), he studied the contribution of innate immune receptors to anti-tumor immunity and T helper cell differentiation. Since 2011, Johan is studying the innate immune metabolism of host-pathogen interaction as principal investigator.
Johan just joined the Inserm U1211, team « Rare Diseases: Genetics and Metabolism ».
