> Who am I ?
I am a postdoctoral researcher funded by the IDEX project directed by Maureen O’Malley. I work in the Thomas Pradeu’s group in a close collaboration with Department of Rheumatology and Bordeaux Bioinformatics Center (CBIB). Molecular biologist by degree, computational biologist by passion, in my work I combine both approaches to answer questions about functional genomics and evolution. I am particularly interested in the involvement of ncRNA in disease progression (i.e. autoimmune disorders, cancer, bacterial, viral and fungal infections).
> My Post-doc projects
The global aim of my project is to understand interactions of microbiota with human host in the progression of autoimmune disorders. Using metagenomics approach the project will reveal microbial diversity, their associations with severity of disease and the response to treatments.
